Redoubt Road Dynamic Lane

Edin has played a pivotal role in the Auckland Transport trial of dynamic lanes on Redoubt Road, providing comprehensive project management, business case analysis, and design support throughout the project’s lifecycle.

Our team’s responsibilities extended to introducing and coordinating mid-block pedestrian signals as part of the dynamic lane implementation. We facilitated seamless communication and collaboration both within Auckland Transport’s internal working group and with external consultants. Our involvement covered various critical phases, including design, obtaining formal approval from Waka Kotahi, issuing the Gazette Notice, conducting key stakeholder and public consultations, acquiring Auckland Transport resolution approval, and overseeing the construction process.

The Redoubt Road Dynamic Lane project represents a significant step forward in improving traffic flow and pedestrian safety on one of Auckland’s key thoroughfares. By efficiently managing and guiding the project through its various stages, Edin has contributed to the successful implementation of dynamic lanes, showcasing our ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and engage effectively with both stakeholders and the public.
