Signal Cycle Time Trial

In collaboration with Auckland Transport, Edin has embarked on an innovative trial aimed at evaluating the effects of reduced signal cycle times at critical intersections throughout the region.

Our team played a pivotal role in executing this project, applying our expertise in traffic modelling, travel time analysis, and cutting-edge drone video monitoring and video analytic analysis. Through these methods, we were able to gather comprehensive data and insights to assess the impact of signal cycle time adjustments on traffic flow and efficiency.

The trial has paved the way for a deeper understanding of signal cycle time optimisation and its potential benefits for urban traffic management.
